Building Cultural Humility and Communication Skills with the Latinx Community

ThisĀ course is aimed at increasing cultural humility and building communication skills with the Latinx community among veterinary professionals in the U.S.

Currently, Latinx veterinarians make up only 5% of all veterinarians in the United States, which means there are not enough veterinarians that can adequately meet the needs of this growing client population.

Whether you're a small animal practitioner in a predominantly Latinx urban area or a dairy veterinarian working with farmworkers to facilitate herd health, it is crucial to have an understanding of Latinx culture and a basic knowledge of Spanish to better serve this community.
